Im currently having problems with my philosophy grade. My test grades were 2 B+, 2 D+. Dont get me wrong. I worked hard for the essay that gave me a D, but some problem arose and my professor had to give me a D.

Anyways, the problem is.. the semester is ending and im at risk of getting a D for a final grade. Those 2 D's pulled my grade down. I could drop the class and get a W. if Im going to repeat the same class for next semester, will my W show up on my permanent record? Because if I get a F, D for the current semester, I could just repeat the same course and If i do get better grades next semester, My previous grades wont appear on my permanent record. Should I Get a W and repeat the course or continue to fight for a better grade now and repeat if i couldnt get a better grade than D.

I took the ACT October 2005. I've been accepted to a college already, I start in January, but I've been told that they need me to send my scores. I already sent my final high school transcript and I thought that had the ACT scores on there.

I went to the ACT website and clicked send scores, but it costs $13. Is there any way I can have them sent without them charging a fee?

I am senior who goes to high school. Is the deadline for registering
Dec.2 exam over?

because I know most of the colleges that I want to go to; their
college application deadline is on Jan. 1st.

I want to apply to U.C sandiego, Cornell, stanford, and U.Penn
and my major will be math, engineering, and philosophy.

If I send my application package later than Jan 1st, will they still

Both fufill medical school requirements. Biology is an easier major compared to biomed engineering. But biology is a pointless degree if I don't go to medical school or change my mind about dentistry. Biomed is a killer degree from what I've heard, it's like a double major. It is a more useful major if I decide to get a non-medical job. What should I do?

Should I make a list of things I'm interested in and point out my strengths and weaknesses.

And also make a list of the things I "may" be considering, and the careers and jobs that can occur afterwards?

And maybe make YES or NO questions like:
~Would I be willing to take courses in this major?
~Would I be happy with this major?
~Is it worth studying for in college?

What did you do to choose your major? I'm applying to colleges today or tomorrow...or this coming week and I need help on choosing a major.

Do you have things you sked yourself or took a test of some sort?

Thanks.
