My understanding, after meeting with the Assistant Director at the UIC School of Pharmacy, is that receiving a Bachelor of Science is not a must. I was told that usually when someone is not accepted they will then get their Bachelor of Science to better help them for the next time around. I am very nervous that I will be one stuck in this situation, especially considering the UIC’s acceptance rate is about 12%. I still have a ways to go in my pre-pharmacy curriculum, but I like to get all of my worrying out of the way.

So, here’s my question. In the case that someone never gets accepted, what sorts of careers and pay can someone expect that has a Bachelor of Science? More opportunities in bio or chem? How common is it for someone to never get accepted? I await any information that you think would be helpful.

If you don't see one, will you please help me develop a strong thesis statement? I'm weak in this area of English and I'd like your help please. I'm totally greatful for your contributions. "How the setting is used in the Cask of Amontillado, by Edgar Allen Poe" Edgar A. Poe is one of the most unique American Writers in the United States History. He started the era out with short stories, and detective books. In this particular short story, The Cask of Amontillado, EAP uses an extreme amount of verbal irony and uses different settings in his stories. There're three settings of the "Cask of Amontillado." First, the main character, Montresor is at his home talking of revenge towards Fortunado. Then he's at the carnival at dusk in a black suit. The last and most important setting is at Montresor's home again, but this time in the Catacombs where his ancestors are buried. By now, the time is at night. This is as far as I can go I'm running outta characters this should be enough to help me.

I decided to drop out of college recently (I am a sophmore) and take a break because I was really burnt out. I was doing well, but I was not happy. I don't know if I did the right thing or not. I also have no idea what I want to do career wise ( I was a philosophy major, which you can't do much with). I also started college 1 year early ( at 17).

My question is have you ever dropped out of college and did taking a break make you feel better? Did you drop out permanently and, if so, do you wish you had went back?

At A-Level or in Foundation, what was the best fine art assignment ever given to you, and how did you complete it. I ask, as I am a teacher, and always open to good ideas.

So I'm deciding what classes I need to take and there are 3 options that I could do for my last class:
"Bach to Rock"- Online (My friends say it is a super easy class online where tests and quizzes are taken word for word from book) OR Art Appreciation Honors (For an honors it is an esay class, the professor is amazing and extremely knowledgable) OR Religious Studies (seems like an interesting class, professor is also excellent and top quality).
I'm not sure what I want to take. All classes pretty much fit nicely into my schedule. Art is on Tuesday afternoons (which I can go to after work, cause I work on-campus) and Religious studies is on Friday afternoons (which I can go after-work as well) and music gives me free time. I'm a social work major who is finishing his last semester. Any ideas, suggestions? What would you take?
