I'll be going to college in two years and have many questions already about it. I do my research online for the time being. what I can't find out simply is how far are dorm rooms from the classes? I had a website that said you can simply walk or drive to your classes from the dorms. Drive? really, how far are they?

I did a slide show on powerpoint for my computer class online that I am taking. The problem is everytime I go to submit the project online to the class, I open up the project after it got submitted and the animation is not showing up on it like it does when I did the project before submitting it to the class. HOw do you submit a powerpoint paper online so the animation shows up in the project? Will the teacher be able to see the animation I had used even though it wont show up on my end when opening the submitted project? Please help!

At my college students are obligated to ask permission for their professors before tape recording the lecture and i don't get the concept behind it. I mean we as students pay a lot of money, how come we don't have the right to tape record them at our discretion?? Plus, i know some people still manage to tape record them secretly, so what's the point????

I transfered to Cal Poly Pomona about 10-11 years ago and I did very poorly. My grades have improved considerably and now I would like to transfer to either CSU Dominguez Hills or UCLA. Do I need to include the transcript from CAL Poly when applying to these 2 schools? Will they know if I don't tell them?

My brother is applying to colleges and has to answer that essay about one hardship you've overcome. The problem is, our parents are insanely protective, so we've never had any hardships. No illness, no deaths, and no bad situations. I wrote my essay on training for my dance graduation, but he never had anything like that.

Any advice?

EMT program,i want to know how long will it take to become a paramedic, is there a diffrence between emt and a perimedic? will it look good on my resume for med-school? and is it possible to do vauntary work as an emt or is it like a job which you can do? i want to know every thing about it, and how many times you can take the emt exams, and what happens if you failit the first time, what happens to the money?do u get ur money back ?

I got a 600 in the math part
350 in the verbal
BUT 5.5 out of 6 on the writing

why is my verbal so low but writing so high
I took it three times and I get the same sore everytime
