I'm a junior in highschool and I don't really like biology all that much even though i have an A in AP bio. i enjoy chemistry much more. So i guess my real question is can i still go into medicine if i majored in chemistry instead of biology?

It is absolutely fine for you to major in chemistry as a preparation for medical school.

You can major in pretty much anything. More important is that you go to a good school and that you get good grades. Of course, you'll have to take a certain number of pre-med requirements, but what you major in will have little effect on your chances of admission if the college is a good one and you do well overall.

Yes, you can.
In fact, people go into medicine from all kinds of majors: chemistry, biology, law, music, etc.
However, the medical school you go to will still require you to have some pre-medical classes, and in many cases, these classes will also fulfill some of the requirements towards a degree in biology as well. That's why biology is such a popular option: the pre-med students have to take a lot of those classes anyway.

No. Actually they're looking for more liberal arts majors now such as English, Philosophy, and Humanities. However, you need to take biology in college as well as organic chemistry and chemistry as entrance requirements. You will also need these classes as a base of knowledge to complete the MCAT exam which has sections on physical and biological sciences. You can definitely major in Chemistry and I would recommend minoring in something like philosophy to appear 'well-rounded.'

NO!!!

I know one of my friends, in Canada, majored in Physics!!! Another in chemical engineering and a third in psychology.

Criterion depends on the country and state. Generally there are certain courses you have to take.

No you don't. You can major in anything you want to as long as you meet the prerequisites for whatever med school you want to go to.
