I'm not talking about getting married, falling in love, maintaining good health, etc. Here are some examples I've come up with. Now I want to know what you think:
1. Climb Mount Everest in the Himalaya Mountains.
2. Travel to all of the Natural Wonders of the World.
3. Run 5 marathons and participate in 1 triathlon.
4. Lean how to whitewater raft in increasing order of difficulty—from Class I – Class V.
5. Find a cure for something.

Specifically, I'd like GPA/GRE/GMAT info as well as % students accepted, % of students accepted who attend, etc.

I can't find the info on traditional sites like princetonreview.com and the like.

I'm debating between UT Austin or University of Texas-San Marcos? They both have a design program (graphic design, advertising etc) which looks great but I'm torn between the 2. Can anyone familiar with the programs suggest any ideas please?

I have applied to this grad school that is different from my BA major. I was denied because they feel that I would not do well in there program. I was a non-degree student and accured a 3.0 in this program. I want to pursue this program again and the college b/c of the area. Now, that there is a different Director in charge I want to try again. Again, I have taking another grad course from a different school but the cost there is too expensive. Anway, please keep in mind I graduated with a BA from the same school. What are your suggestions?

I don't want to pursue a career in my field. Should I just stick it out and get my degree and then decide later what to do with my life?

Hi! I'm looking into colleges (I'm a high school Junior), and I wanted to know if I really had a chance at NYU, Harvard, Wellesley, etc.
I'm ranked 1st out of about 500 people, involved in Forensics, Key Club (secretary for two years), National Honor Society, and on the newspaper staff as a news reporter and columnist. I have a 3.85 unweighted GPA with a 4.5 weighted GPA (based on last year), and I'm taking five AP classes (one of them online). I also write for an online newspaper and am bilingual (working on my Spanish as a third language by taking it as an AP class). Last summer, I took a law course, and hopefully, this summer I'll be planning a Model UN club for my school while volunteering.
Anywho, could you please make some suggestions as far as extracurriculars and such? My counselor said that my income level would make me eligible for a free ride through Harvard or Yale, so money is not my main issue (especially since I'm working on scholarships).

My mom wants me to stay in town and go to a community college that's not that far out of my way. She's paying for my car insurance and buying me a used car. I'd be living in an apartment if I stayed (which is what I want to do. I wanna live by myself)

I kinda want to do that.

But I also want to meet new people. The town where I live is dull, there's never anything to do and all the people I know have the same problem. So if I stayed here I'd just be working and bored all the time.

I want to go to MTSU and live on campus and I'm getting enough scholarships and grants to pay for the first year (excluding books and stuff like that). But I'm afraid to go because I don't know anyone up there and it's scary to me.

I don't know what I should do. I really want to go to MTSU but I'm scared to leasve because I don't know anyone.

Please give me your opinions.(serious ones only please)

i was wondering what the pros and cons for bringing either the laptop or desktop. i've heard most students bring the laptop but on the other hand, i've heard the desktop is better but cumbersome. your opinions based on personal experience would be helpful. thanks.
