Higher Education (University +) - November 2006

My girlfriend and I had just broken up after a 2 year relationship. We still talk and still love each other. And recently we went to the movies and i stayed at her apartment because she told me i didnt have to go home. She runs to me and hug and kiss me whenever we dont see each other for a while, and she still have her son call me Daddy, because she was already pregnant when we got together(the real father isnt around).She stil call me baby and sweetie the same names she called me when we were together. Now im confused by all these things because she is the one who broke up with me after i told her how much i still loved her and her mother and my mother both said we just need time away from each other and im trying to do that now, because i figure if we both have time away we can appreciate things more about ourselves and our relationship. Dont get me wrong i still love this girl with all my heart and would do anything for her, but i will just be patience and let time do its thing.

I made some mistakes earlier in my life, and now I'm trying to get my life together. People are trying to get me to go to college, but they don't realize I haven't graduated high school. If so, how do I go about requesting sponsorship, and who should I approach? It'll be hard for me to ask family members because all of their money is pretty tight. Are there any guidelines that must be followed? Do you know of any organizations, corporations, foundations, individuals, etc. that would sponsor a student who wishes to join a sorority, or if there are special scholarships offered to those who wish to become members of a sorority?

I would like to talk about the main characters in Othello. My teacher wants us to put the titles of plays in quotation marks. If I am using the possessive form, do I write

"Othello"'s characters

or

"Othello's" characters

The second seems misleading as the possessive form is not part of the title, but the first one sure looks funny. What should I do?

Okay. Very soon I will be checking out colleges, and I would like your opinions on what else I should do to make myself look better for colleges. (I want to major in Economics)
I have a 4.0 GPA, completed Girl Scouts & got the Gold Award (like the Eagle Award in Boy Scouts), Captain of the Tennis Team (well, will be next year), played a year of volleyball. I am on Newspaper, and made it into Who's Who In America High Schools. I am currently number 10 in my class of 275. I am in Math club. I think that's it.
I am looking at schools like Stanford (maybe), Duke, USC, Princeton, University of Florida, and the University of California in Berkley or San Diego. (I know, my list is big right now, but I am still deciding) Thank you all very much!

Would I need to take the S.A.T's to get into Georgetown if I already have a two year degree that will transfer toward an undergraduate at Georgetown? If I do need to take the S.A.T's what do I need to score? What will increase my chances to get accepted? I can get letters of recommendation from Georgetown alumni...will that help?
