I Want to be a psychiatrist, can I take Psychology in college and get my bachelors, and go to med school?

Or do I have to take Biology? I know that getting a degree in Biology is usually the choice Medical Doctors but since my aim is to become a Psychiatrist, I thought that Psychology would be more suitable.

IT doesn't matter what your major is, as long as you have taken the pre-req courses for med school and gotten excellent marks. THe main thing is to get excellent marks in those pre-req courses. Everything else is secondary to that.
