The guide i'm using is ..

On it is says ..

1.Determine what kind of paper you are writing:

An analytical paper breaks down an issue or an idea into its component parts, evaluates the issue or idea, and presents this breakdown and evaluation to the audience


I sort of understand this ..can anyone help figure out in plain terms ..

So am i writing facts I find and then arguementing them ?
I have guides from my professor but totaly stuck .

My thesis is about ..1910 comet fear .. they say the reaf of the comet halley came from 1835 but in my view the astronomers made it worse . one year before 1910 astronomers anounced " as earth moves into comet halleys tail we will be going thru cyanide poisining . " and panic ensued .
I want to arguement that astronmers started it .

So am I writing the facts , then arguementing it after or is it all rolled in one ?

I have two strong essays too, atleast I think.

I graduated high school in jamaica though, and I don't know if that really matters.

I wanted to apply to Mcombs business but I don't have cal. So i'm probably going apply to a liberal arts program, and If I get accepted then I'll do an internal transfer after a semester.

I never took the ACT, I don't think it matters though, because its a transfer.

I understand my grades are... crappy. But I hope to be able to raise them.

I have not yet taken the SATs yet, but I plan to take them sometime Febuary-April because I plan to take prep classes.


Do I have any chances of making a mid tier UC school? The only Extra C. I do is Student Government and I am officers of 3 or so clubs.

I am just wondering what is a good midlevel, medium size college that would provide a good base for law school, prb a good history department......but I can not go to anything huge, because my gpa is not where it "should be" a 2.6-2.9 at a pretty hard prep school and I always seem to gravitate to the classes that are a little hard. So if anyone knows of a medium size college that is not impossible to get into that may have a decent prelaw major course or history department let me more plz
