Given the results of the midterm elections, and given the fact that large groups of American evangelical Christians seem to have changed voting patterns and abandoned Republican candidates, I'd nominate David Kuo's book, _Tempting Faith: An Inside Story of Political Seduction_.

It was on the NY Times Bestseller list the month before the elections, and even folks who don't read much heard about this book, since it got mass media coverage.
