One of my neighbors was a student at Brown University (an Ivy League school for those who don't know) and was busted for a third time dealing drugs. Now he is in prison for life. It does matter where you are there are kids dealing drugs at every campus - actually the ivy leage schools like Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and/or Brown are the worst because alot of these kids coming from priledged backgrounds don't think they will ever be caught and sadly many of them don't. However, when the do they crash and crash hard.

Drug dealers are everywhere and intelligence has little to do with it. Read or watch the movie Prozac Nation. The girl is very bright and goes to Harvard but does drugs and the like, and it's a true story...

Drug lords make the most money. They're not the guys on the corner, however. They are the leaders of gangs and they run the drug business. They make millions. In some countries, they are more powerful than the government. Drug dealers on the street make good money too. How much they make depends on where they live, what they sell and how they get it. Dealers in urban areas make the most money, because of the population. Dealers who sell crack make less money, because crack is really cheap. I believe the most expensive drug is cocaine, so coke dealers probably make the most money. But a lot of people do weed, so weed dealers make a lot of money too. It also depends on how much they make. A weed dealer who buys from a supplier will make less money than someone who grows it themselves. The average person will buy 20 dollars worth of weed a week. If a weed dealer can get 50 people to buy from him in a week- not very hard, he makes 1000 dollars.

Harvard especially, Ivy Leagues are riddled with drugs. UCLA it will definitely be less noticeable.
The reason is that UCLA is public and the rules are enforced much more (notice recent tasering controversy). Private schools are much more lax in the enforcement of 'rules'. Gotta love 'em.
