I am white and grew up with black ,Jamaican, west Indian etc..and the one thing was we all shared a school but in half of the school was strictly a private school for black students one day i decided to ask a close friend in the same school why she felt they separated?and she told me it doesn't cause problems with the people who r racist when we stick together we r not judged but when we mix with others then right away we r treated different because of black history.I felt so bad for her but others said they just felt more comfortable with people of the same culture you see i think it's actually a different aspect or reason people prefer a school of a particular race not just black but other races to.That is what i was told by my friends but the overall reason i have no idea.

Because of their history and prestige within the Black community. They are the Harvard and Yales of the Black communities. I would argue the level of education is higher because Blacks feel the standards are higher in society. Meaning they have to do that much more than their Non-Black counterparts.

extremely i be attentive to folk are going to probable hate me for asserting this yet a traditionally black college must be between the stupidest issues I easily have ever heard of...In any college selection is fundamental. college is all approximately leaving domicile, getting to be attentive to no longer basically new human beings yet categories of folk and the thank you to stay between different cultures and strategies of thinking. I additionally think of the belief of a traditionally black college is basically approximately opposite racism...think of roughly it what if we began calling colleges that had an rather severe proportion of white pupils traditionally white colleges...i'm no longer asserting there arent colleges that have not been "traditionally white" yet utilising the word may be seen racist. this is basically my opinon hate it or like it i easily do no longer care : )
