It depends on what kind of science job you want, and whether the B.S. will be the only degree you get.
At my university, the difference between a B.S. and a B.A. is whether you study math or a foreign language. Many departments will not even offer a B.A. Physics, or B.A. Chemistry, because they assume that if you are going to study that degree, you should be willing to study math.
If I were a potential employer looking to hire, say, a lab tech for my lab, I'd probably take the person with the B.S. over the person with the B.A.

Well BSc means batchelor of Science and BA means Batchelor of Arts. So it all depends on the subject you're studying but they're equal in value. I guess if you're looking at Science jobs, then you want a BSc ... that's what I've got anyway.
