I am new and 50 ! Seems like a new language all together. Grant ads and emails left and right. Anyone know of a guideline or help that don't cost ?

Well I'm a Lumbee Indian in NC and I'm looking for scholarship information. But I'm not just looking for american indian scholarships but also any for students pursuing a medical career and if you could find any for both that would be AWESOME! There's just one problem, my tribe isn't federally recognized yet, so try to avoid those. I have a high G.P.A., an excellent attndance report and I will accept ANY scholarship information not matter the amount available. EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS!!!
(I'm only a sophmore but I recognized the importance of scholarships so I'm getting started now :))

i have $3,000 on my savings, i have no debt, no car loan, no everything to pay. my parents pay for my college, iam only 17 years old(i graduated early in HS), and i have a job right now, i live with my parents. the only thing i pay for is for personal things. iam i poor? broke or what?

my parents cant afford 3 people going to college, paying the house and all the bills is hard enough.... BUT they want me to have an education ....

Im in junior high straight A student

always getting good remarks from teachers

and do a lot of clubs.

i volunteer at a church and get community service hours


what else is required of me? or in general how do i stand out...

I apply for Financial aid for a few semester already, How ever since i am 24 as a dependent student status the amount that i have received had become less and less. why was this happen, my income was not excessed the requirement and I am a full -time student. Why my brothers could get more than me??? and they both have the highther income than me???

I ended up accidently checking the exempt status on my tax information for work (I didn't know what it was, it was my first job), so they didn't take out any federal tax for the year. I owe $460, my question is, I know with applying for financial aid for college you need to file your taxes for the year first. Could I still be given financial aid even though I owe on my taxes?

Live in California, I'm 21, haven't lived at home since I was 18, my father was a vetren, and my mother is disabled.
