yup, she's right... and there are TONS of sites for the info. if you ever find a site that charges for this info, stay away from it, for all of this info is free.

also, spread the word to friends about what you find and where. many dont know where to look to find it.

OVER apply; it doesnt hurt to have too many, and the extra funds can help with housing.

If you are refering to government grants, the FAFSA web page is the best place to go to fill out the form. Grants are based on the family income (parents' and yours if you work income) along with any savings. The government takes a certain set formula and then determines the amount of aid you are eligible for the school year. For example, you are expected to contribute more out of your savings than the family savings account. Also, a house mortgage is weighted into the aid but not held against a person. Good luck!
