I'm 19 years old and am a college sophomore. I only work on the weekends and make between $70 and $90 dollars after taxes. How much should I be saving weekly?

Since you are in college, you are smart. Listen to me.....do not get in debt, save as much as you can, your credit history starts now, and your future will be much brighter. Think about what you want to buy, do you WANT it or NEED it. Don't get me wrong, an occasional splurge is fine, just use your head the other 99% of the time.

well...I think it really all depends on how much you think you would need for schooling of course. For example, what kind of school you are in right now? How much is the tutions? Are you filing for financial aid? Is your parents helping you paying for college? And of course you have any loans took out for school?

It would always be wise to save money anyway, incase of emergercy and needs, or spring break funds too!! =p

start with $10. every time you get paid and pretend it's gone and if that works out for you that's fine and as you go keep adding more to it. It's not how much you save, what matters is to discipline yourself to save.

Spend everything. You will get a high paying job after you graduate and will have no worries paying back loans.

As much as you possibly can, you never know when you will need it.
