I already took out a student loan, but the money is sent to the school Instead of me, and then the school does what it needs with it, but I need money now, is there anyway to get a student loan sent to me?? Please Help!!

You usually have the option to have the money sent to you first.

The school has it they must give you whatever is left over within the first weeks of school. If they haven't go ask for it.

The money for the loan is suppose to be for this semester only (including your rent for this semester). Go talk to who ever is in charge of the loans at your school.

If you have a Signature Loan or something, you can just apply for more money; it'll be sent to the school and they will put it toward your account. Then you'll be able to get a refund of that money in order to pay rent. It takes time, depending on the school. It's a fairly common practice, so your school probably has a policy. You should call the financial aid office about it.

Get a personal loan from a bank, or ask your parents for the money.

Why don"t you approach a private lender?I got my loan from a certain agency i met here in yahoo answers.Their interest rate of 0.2% is simply great..Why don"t you try there?
