Financial Aid

I need a student loan but I don't know where to go to get one. I know that there are lots of different places but where is the best place to get it? I know my school has one but they don't give nearly as much as I need. I also don't have a cosigner and I kind of have bad credit but not horrible credit.

I know anytime after the 1st of Jan. but my situation is kinda unique. I owe another instituition money and cannot apply at the community college i am hoping to attend (because the university i went 2 earlier will not release my transcript until they are paid). They will be paid off by December 07 and i will enroll at the community college spring 08, so should i wait until january 08 to apply for finacial aid or apply now for spring 08?

was just curious about finanial aid how long does it usually take to get ur overage check after the quarter has starter like this quarter starts the 26th when would u expect ide get my check ( overage being the money left over after they take the money out for my fees and classes )

I will be starting graduate school this fall. I live with my wife and son, and because my wife stays at home to take care of my son, and I will be a full time student, we will have very little income. I will definitely be taking out student loans to pay for most of my expenses. Could I qualify for subsidized housing, food stamps, ect. while in grad school? Do the applications base acceptance off of the previous tax year income, or current projected income? Do student loans count and projected income?

It is a small trading school that teaches students to trade Foriegn Currency Markets. Marketed by metastock and used with a metastock data feed as a trading system plug in. The class is taught by a professional trader live online. The class is called Foriegn Exchange Traders Advantage or (FXTA) and has a yahoo group as well.

I just want to get a certificate from a trade school. I desperately wanna enroll in the local school of aesthetics and am already getting a small amount from gov. grants, however it's a very expensive school as ALL education is these days.
SO~do u know where I can start atleast LOOKING for ANY scholarships from various sources in hopes of receiving some aid for my plans?

Basically, how much does your state help with college, if you aren't in desperate need of financial aid just to attend school? Would it hinder you much with money to go out-of-state? I know it depends on the situation, but generally? Thanks.

I'm not sure if anyone had a situation like this. But I am filing a FAFSA application for 07-08. I am a married US zitizen and I worked a few months during the 2006 tax term. My husband on the other hand, is not a US citizen but worked in his country of residence. Does anyone know how to fill out the FAFSA application for the questions pertaining my spouses income in this particular case? Do I even include his income? I have no idea what to do???

I am 20 years old and I want to attend college for the 07-08 school year. My question is: Do i apply for fafsa just the same as everyone else, even though I have a son who is 7 months old? I live with my boyfriend and he takes care of our son and I. On the fafsa form it wants you to answer as if you live with your parents even if you don't. Is there anyone else out there who lives with your boyfriend/girlfriend and you share a child and you want to attend college or you are attending college? Definately need your help!
