Not sure what city you live in but I live in the area of Norwich Ct. there is a place called Catholic Charities downtown, they will help you with your situation call them. The phone # is 860-889-8346. It's on Main st., next to the YMCA. If you do not live in Norwich they may be able to provide you with a place in your town that can help you.

Try getting general relief or welfare for the child - perhaps they can give you food stamps and medi-care health insurance for the child as well.

What city do you live in? You may have access to local charities to help you with food, clothing and monetary donations.

Please update your question and I'll edit my answer tomorrow.
