Very active in church-related activities - choir, praise team and volunteering office work , and managing a candy fundraiser - $700 so far).
IBeen accepted into the National Honors Society.

I want to go to college and graduate with a BA (music) and MBA.

Rollins College
University of North Florida
Problem - locationwise, Stetson and Rollins are good.
But they are PRIVATE!
What are the best ways for me to find Financial Aid and scholarships thaat can cover the $30,000 price tag? What can I do to be more well rounded?

I am transfering from a community college to a public four-year for Fall 2007. I always filed for the BOGFW while attending community college. I was told I needed to file the FAFSA to recieve aid in the Cal State I was transfering to by March 2nd. Unfortunately I did not do it in time. Can I still file the FAFSA and recieve aid for the 07-08 school year? What other financial aid options are avaliable at this point?

Ok heres the thing, I want to go to college. I had a child in highschool so never applied then. I married & now that the kids are older (12, 10, 9) I want to go back to school. Every time I apply for aid I get turned down because of outstanding student loans. I have called them and they are my husbands not mine. They told me that I married him, hence I also married the outstanding loan. I know we are married but its not my fault he never paid the loan back once he was out of school. Its a 40,000.00 dollar loan and its just not in the butget right now to make 250.00 monthly pmts, which is what they want. All we can afford is about 50.00 a month, which will take a lifetime to pay back to 0.00. Is there any way aroun his student loan besides divorce?

Hi
I just recently got a pell grant. I have some questions
1)Do I have to spend the entire amount, within a time period
2)Is there a time period for the pell grant
3)Right now I am in a communityc ollege, can i just leave it in my savings account and not use it untill I transfer to the 4 yr univ and use it to pay fees and tuition there.

4)If i dont spend a good chunk of it, will it affect my Pell Grant eligibility for next year.

5)Will they ask for the money back if a good chunk is not spent.

Is there a way for me to get financial aid help without having a credit history or a co-signer? It may sound weird but nobody can sign for me because they make too much money, and I can't get one independently because I just turned 18 so I haven't established a credit history.

There is a group called CCG (I only know that the first C stands for College and the last G stands for Group) who says that if we pay them $1,200, they will help me get $60,000 in scholarships and free money to pay for college. It seem great, but when I say it, it sounds like a scam. My grandparents won't give me the information about it (like it's whole name) so I can look it up with Better Business Bureau. I'm afraid it could be a scam, and that they're lying, and normally, if it's too good to be true, it is, but I need this. I need you help if any of this sounds familiar.

Their motto is "Start school the right way." and they said they work out of the IRA building in New York.

Please help!

The university that I attended sent part of my student financial aid back to the government. Is there any way I can get that money back to me. If not how can I not get charged for it?I needed that money and the school claimed that I didn't have the need for it and that it was against school policy and sent back my money without consulting me.
