I recieve my CSA money monthly and have done for quite a few years now. Although my X has no choice as they have made an arrestment on his earnings. They take as soon as he gets paid. It did take a while to get the payments established from first being awarded it. Just because they say your being awarded it, it doesnt mean that you will get it they have to find the absent parent to get the money first.

useless is one word i could think of quite a few more. my ex has been gone for a year paying no money at all and they have just awarded me £3.34 for two children!!! as a single mum i was forced back to work by the system and yet he can sit on his backside for over 2 years, pay nothing for his kids, have no contact (his choice) and get away with it. this government and its systems STINK!!! and no i haven't received a penny, but if the csa decide that £3.34 is overpaying, i have to pay him back.
