Does Cal Grant B take care for the whole school year?

Or does it take care of just the first semester and that I have to renew the application to receive another grant?

if you file with fasfa.. and you recieve a pell grant.. they pay for two semesters and summer 1. So lets say you recieved 4,025. Then half of that would go to the first semester and the other half would go to the 2nd semester. summer 1 you would get half of that. BUT thats based on if you take full time at least 12 hours. if you take less you get less money.
