Is there a way for me to get financial aid help without having a credit history or a co-signer? It may sound weird but nobody can sign for me because they make too much money, and I can't get one independently because I just turned 18 so I haven't established a credit history.

You can get legally emancipated. Your parents wouldn't be able to claim you on their taxes. Then you can file with FAFSA as an independent and be eligible for considerably more aid.

You also might want to try Sallie Mae. They tried to give me a loan without a cosigner, somewhat high interest rate.

confident, putting your call on a loan as a co-signer will fairly impression your "financial help". you will would desire to checklist all duties on your application. Being a co-signer or co-proprietor - this is the comparable - it is lots too unstable so you might become in touch in. Beg off or overlook your destiny.
