I owe the limit for my two undergrad loans, but I want to go to school for a second bachelor's degree. I am worried that I will not be able to find sources of funding. The school that I am interested in is quite expensive. I would apply for scholarships, but I was a C student in undergrad school and I worry that this will eliminate me from that option. I would also apply for a loan from a bank, but I filed for bankruptcy 2 years ago. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to fullfill my dream of obtaining a 2nd bachelor's? Is there additional funding available, through the government, for a 2nd bachelor's?

I want to go to college. The problem is this, I've been out of school now for 2 years, I just baught a new car, I'm saving for downpayment on a home, and I plan on paying off all of my debt in a few months. I can do all this, but I also really want to go to school to get a major in Pharmacy, which would be very expensive. I am kind of familiar with how to sign up for government grant money, but I'm not sure how much money they usually give. Has anyone here use a grant to pay for their education? and how much did they give you?

I had gotten a student loan a few years ago where they sent the check to me. Now my school is telling me I have to get all loans through them and they are giving me the run around. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good school loans I could apply for online that do not require me to go through the school. I've already done my FAFSA.

Is it worth it to spend my $1000 savings on college or partially on a new Mac Book which I will use in that same college? Either way, my parents say I have enough financial aid to cover my enrollment. I am going to study filmmaking in about a few years so I would probably need a good laptop. Then again, I am trying to be conservative in not spending money on something that I wouldn't need yet.

I finished school in 1998 and have not been able to hold down a job since...a couple months is the most I have lasted at a job. I want to dismiss my loans because I have mental health issues, physical problems that keep me from standing, walking or sitting for long periods of time. I am 61 and even though I pay $40 a month I will never get it paid before I am too old to work.

I just submitted my FAFSA earlier tonight.

After I submitted it, it told me: Your application will be processed within 3 to 4 days.

Does that mean I can get a stafford loan after 3-4 days? How long would it take before I can apply for a stafford loan?
Thanks
