Fill out a Fafsa it will let you know what your estimated contribution will be.( EFC) you can sign up for state grants as well as federal pell grants which you do not have to pay back. My local Dhhr gives me free childcare so i can get out of the house to go and study. Then you can take out student loans-yea you have to pay them back but uf you need it then you need it. You receive more for being an independent student. Subsidized loans the government pays the interest while in school and unsubsidized they don't but you can make small payments to keep the interest from compounding so that your payments are lower when you finish. Good luck and the money is out there for anyone who wants to go you just have to find it. I receive $2025 federal $1078 state and about 5,000 in loans per semester!

No. Why should you get a free ride just because you have a "family". I hate that people with families get all this stuff that single people are not elidgible for, you chose yo have a family, why should you be rewarded for it?
