Financial Aid

I'll be entering my sixth year of college in the fall and it's depressing me to see how much I've accumulated in student loans. Granted, I will walk away with a master's degree, but how much is too much? Everyone says not to worry, but it's hard not to when you're 24 years old and already $85,000 in debt. So, I'm curious... with the rising price of higher education, how much do you or will you all owe in student loans?

My grandaughter recently went back to school and got her G.E.D..
She also just had a baby, she is determined to go back to school (college) & money is tight. a friend of mine told me that medicaid will help pay for college. I don't know how true this is. I have tried looking online for information, I end up with nothing. Any piece of info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a blessed day/night.

I have no money. My parents will not be helping me at all. They won't even give me a copy of their tax forms. Since I can't turn in their tax forms, I am not eligible for any federal aid at all. I have to be considered a dependent student since I technically still have parents. If they've decided not to give me the copies there's nothing that I can do. I am going to be a teacher but the state's teaching fellows program is only for high school seniors. I'm already in college. What should I do? What are some alternate resources since I'm not eligible for federal grants or loans?

Ok I signed up for federal student aid from school and also applied for a private loan from a company. Will being qualified for a private loan affect my eligibility for the federal student aid from school?

I'm Vietnamese and I am a 17 years old girl. I am going to graduate from high school and I dream to study about hotel administration. However, no university in my country has this course. So the only way for me is studying abroad. And I've also found out a uni suitable for my choice. But the tuition and fees every year in there is $ 37,000 and my parents cannot afford that. I don't want to give up my dream. I've heard that international students are allowed to get a loans but in my case the maximum amount of money I can borrow for the whole 4 years is $36,000. Do you have any idea to help me to get a loan of $36,000 every year? I appreciate all your answers in the future. Please, the more detail your answers are, the more chance I will have to attend this uni and make my dream come true. Thank you in advance!

I have a score of 1500 in GRE test. I wish to join an Ivy League college.

I am not sure of admission to an Ivy League college with financial aid. However, I sense that the score and other credentials may get me the admission.

Is this belief correct ?

Or it does not matter whether you ask for financial help or not ; the admission to college is unrelated.
