I am in search of a student grant, to pay for me to return to school. I have a bachelors degree earned 25 years ago, and now am changing my career.

talk to the schools' financial aid office first, and see what they are willing to offer (usually they'll tell what you need to do to get the most financial support)....need-based loans, grants, scholarships etc. if you are a qualified candidate for the school, they'll offer anything to get you to go.

If you still need financial support after what the school and government are willing to give you, then you can take out a private loan at a bank. citi, bank of america...etc.

ps. remember to have your W2 forms ready.

try applying for a pell grant. you should be able to pick up an application at the financial aid office of whatever school you want to go to
