I was thinking of moving to Florida b/c someone told me their daughter was going for free b/c of the lottery but you have to be a florida resident. does anyone know the details of this or how it works. I checked the FSU website but nothing about it.

i got this form from the Educational Assistance Council National Research and Processing Center and i want to know if it is fake or not?
it charges me 50 bucks with the applcation and says it i am fully eligible for the aid (scholorships, grants, and finincal aid)

also, the school is supposed to help me apply for finincial aid when i start my senior year in 2 months, right?

Sometime next year, I plan on moving to NYC. since I would be off-campus, would my financial aid be able to cover the cost of the apartment while I'm in school?? And could something like a grant cover the cost, or would only a loan work?

Yes I have applied to financial aid and i got some grants. I was going to a university but i cant afford it so im going back to a community college for a semester because i have credit card debt and im going to be working two jobs. The community college im going to doesnt have gov. loans. My credit score is 559 and i dont have a cosigner and cant find one. Please Help me!!!!

I filled out the FAFSA and my EFC is $15,000, which is ridiculous because my Dad was laid off and has been on unemployment for 5 months, and Mom works as a manager at Target. School costs $9,500. Does that mean I am not eligible for any financial aid?
