Yes I have applied to financial aid and i got some grants. I was going to a university but i cant afford it so im going back to a community college for a semester because i have credit card debt and im going to be working two jobs. The community college im going to doesnt have gov. loans. My credit score is 559 and i dont have a cosigner and cant find one. Please Help me!!!!

Work part time and work at school too. Take only one class until you have enough money to pay for school. In the mean time pay your debt and try to get your score higher.

Personally I would never get student loans. If you cant affor it dont do it until you can.

Applying for student loans is very risky since you wouldn't know you'll be out of work or become laid off. Then you wouldn't have the money to pay the loans back. So I suggest you apply for scholarships first before getting some private loans. There are tons of scholarships you can find at www.fastweb.com

Try it before putting yourself deeper into debt.
