Do you have to fill out another form or something??

Generally for summer session(s), a separate application is required by most colleges/universities in MN. Otherwise in my experience as a poor, starving college student was that a yearly application usually is required. It is always best to check with your financial aid office of the college you are or want to attend.

The Federal Aid (FAFSA) does send out a renewal packet every year toward the end of December through sometime in January. I am not knowledgeable on if the gov't still sends out the packet or sends a post card to remind you that there is an online application process that is a bit more convenient, in my humble opinion.

Hope that Helps

If you've already filled out the FAFSA, you don't need to apply again. Loans are also covered on a yearly basis.
