Go by a coin book they will list the current vaule of the coin. Check ebay as well just do a search and you will get some what of a clue what they are selling for. And take it to a coin shop they will tell you what its worth and why its worth that price.

Well, I can't tell you exactly, but my family had a silver coin from somewhere in the 1800's and it turned out to only be worth about 5 bucks. I think it might have been the coin you have with Queen Vic. on it. It is not rounded. It has sides on it.

you would probably get £45 -£65, they are selling on ebay for the lower end though a dealer or private sale may make you more.

Pretend your selling it,take it to a jeweller they will offer less than what its worth.Then you will have a rough idea to the value.
