I will have a degree in biobehavioral health and a degree in Health Policy Administration. Are there any type of scholarships for public heath, community educator or other type of helping profession (becides physicians or nursing) available that offers incentives to work with this population). This is my dream and am not finding enough federal funding to complete my education.

I am wanting to start school in January 2007. What are the chances of me getting any assistance? I am 29 and married. I am waiting to hear back about a job. Between hubby and I we will make about $53, 000 before taxes. We just bought our first house a few months ago and so we are really strapped. Will they take into consideration our house payment when looking at my needing assistance? No one in my family has graduated from college. My mom says that should help me. I'm 26, have no parents willing to cosign, no friends willing to take on the burden and the federal aid and federal loans are not enough. I'll will be working, but it's not enough either. There has to be something available that I don't know about. HELP!

My friend is a foriegn student and a great guy, he owes £6000 in uni fee's from completing his 1st year, however the uni want it all back in one go and his next term starts soon... He is not eligible for a student loan, and he can't get a loan to pay this off because he is a student. How can he get out of this mess and carry on his studyies here??? PLEASE sensible answers only I WANT to help the guy!

Ok, class starts about 2 and half weeks. I applied for FAFSA 4 months ago. I just found out this past Monday that I didn't qualify for pell grant since the school messed up my address and information yet I'm a single mother and work 30 hours a week. Of course I was very upset about this but I wonder how did I not qualify.?! First time ever applying and I'm assumming I'm making too much money. (Only 11 bucks an hour)! They told me I have to fit in some quota. Is it possible for me to try to re-apply again to make sure there isn't errors? And what sort of loans do you recommend that doesn't check your credit history if there is any out there. Please help!

One parent won't sign..the other financially can't (divorced)...I don't no anybody else who will...I have no problem with taking out loans or paying them back I just need someone to give me the money so I can go to school!! I filled out the FAFSA and yes I do get as many grants as I can get already.

I am 29 and currently living at my mother's house since moving back to Virginia. I was living in Mississippi until Hurricane Katrina hit. My financial situation turned south after that. I looked on the internet for student loans but the lowest APR i found was 7.25% which is pretty high in my book. Does anybody know of a lower rate and where i can apply for it asap?
