I'm planning on sending money to Canada through a letter, but I'm hearing rumors that sending money even in a birthday card or so is risky as postal workers often intercept them and steal them. Paypal and Credit card is not an option, but a friend has been talking about getting a bank note, which only a designated person can cash-in from a bank. Can anyone tell me a little more about bank notes, how should I approach a bank (if obtainable) and is there truly no safer way to send money through post?

Can someone tell me the easiest way to apply for private student loans. I need a loan to help pay for housing since my university doesn't provide it to all students. I obviously want to find the lowest interest rate but am having trouble locating a site that lets me compare them. I have an excellent credit score so I won't need a cosigner. Any information would be useful thanks!

Do I need a certain amount of credits to be considered a sophmore for student loan purposes? There are different limits on how much money you can borrow for these loans, based on what year you're in. I have 27 credits going into my second year, but only half apply to my major.

I thought I could go back and make corrections but it says I can only do that if it's processed (which it can't be processed now bc she hasn't signed electronically). It says it's missing my parents pin# which isn't working w/her real ss# or all 0s as the ss#. I tried to start completely over but it isn't working. What is the problem and what do I have to do now?

I'm returning to school to fininsh my degree. I'd like to go full time to finish quickly, but I would need to have enough financial aid to pay for my bills as well as tuition. I can't live on campus because I have a home. Has anyone else out there essentially taken out enough aid in scholarships, grants and loans to be able to pay for college and live too?
