If you did, how did the meeting with the trustee go? Was it hard? Was the trustee agressive?

Bankruptcy filings are down by 80% or more in most parts of the country, so the trustees have more time to ask questions and review a case more thoroughly. About half the time, I have also seen a case analyst from the U.S. Attorney's office who asks questions too to see if there is any abuse of the bankruptcy process. In about 1/2 of my cases, the trustee is more aggressive. In the remaining cases, the cases proceed as they did under the old law.

My trustee asked simple questions and inquired about an unsecured $11,000 loan I took out six months before filing for bankruptcy. I still received bankruptcy discharge about 3 months after filing. I had no problems other than minor errors due to filing without an attorney.

Time after time after time. I rather have family members like this and a pair of friends. Over many years they make the comparable form of blunders. no longer something ever variations. and that i'm speaking important, financial and/or life impacting incorrect judgements. no longer something will each and every replace their minds. they are under pressure to screw themselves. enable bypass... all you will gain is making your self ill.
