You could probably find what you're looking for just by doing an internet search...

Student loans don't go by credit, they will give them to anyone. When you fill out your financial aid form, there is a question where they ask you if you would like loans in addition to your grants. Say yes, and they will give you loans for the remainder of your bill that grants and things didn't cover. The interest rate on my student loans just went up to around 7%.

It depends. File a FAFSA, and if you qualify based on income, you may be awarded a stafford or perkins from the federal govt through the school. These are NOT credit based loans. Anything from a private lender (sallie mae, chase, etc) will be credit based and you will need a cosignor.

I would try applying for grants and scholarships before trying to take out loans. Also try, fastweb.com or collegeboard.com to seek out scholarships. If no luck, look for loans online such as Perkins, Stanford, etc as they don't charge interest (from what I'm told) until your graduate or complete your area of study. Also, working parttime during school, national guard will help when you signup for duty, and a work study program will help too. One more if I may...Americorps will help pay tuition if you are actively involved in volunteering in their program, full or parttime if its available in your school. But you have to apply before the fall semester.

Good Luck!
