why can't a 13 year old get a job???

you can babysit for friends and neighbors,
iron clothes ( I used to charge $10 a dozen ), include mending and lite sewing if you can,
walk dogs,
theres plenty of side jobs you can do at your age.

I dont know of any places that do hire any one under the age of 14. At least not any businesses that aren't personally owned. There are a lot of stipulations with hiring minors in the first place so few places will hire you if you are under the age of 18.

Most states, the working age is at 14. But not many places hire at 14, you have to wait until you are 16. Believe, me, I had the same problem.

Focus on your education for right now. Don't be in such a hurry to grow up. You have many, many, many years ahead of you to work and one day you will wish you were 13 again and didn't have to worry about the stresses of life.

becouse most 13 year olds dont ahve much experiance with jobs and u also have to drive to and from work and 13 year olds cant drive yet.
