I currently work during the day (American Red Cross)..Its a good job(it pays my bills) and I'd hate to lose it but education is really important to me and i feel like im doing nothing cause i cant go to college like i really want to. I was going to college at night but its too stressful and really boring(i get sleepy and cant concentrate)..the classes are 1 or days a week from 6:30-9:30 or 5:30-8:30..this way i will never finish college...or so its seems that way. What would you do in a situation like this? i know an option is to get a night job and go to school during the day but its going to be hard to find a job that pays me more (or atleast close to what im payed at now).(i dont live in a big town)..i dont know where to work and school starts Jan.7th so i need to decide soon...its just too much stress and im sooo confused. :-( any advice is great...thanks.

*I live in Winter Haven,Fl & im 20yrs old.

so i am trying to apply to grad school in canada....i graduated form a US university with a 3.065 GPA and now I have 2 yrs working experience with reliable references (managers and above). But still every canadian university is saying I must have a B+ average from school. It doesnt make sense to me. I graduated almost 2 ys ago ...a lot has changed since then, you cannot use my grades then to determine how good i would perform in grad school. Has anyone ever been in this situation? If so pls advise on what i can do. Thanks

Education should make us more cultured and compassionate, otherwise how do we distinguish between the educated and an uneducated? Two close associate who mastermind terror attacks are highly educated: one, an MD in paediatrics and the other a PhD in Jurisprudence! Don't you think that we must do something to make education that reforms individual from evil to enlightenment?

I am fluent in Italian and I think it would be awesome to teach Italian..it would probably be at the college level becuase I usually never hear of high schools or junior high schools offering Italian..maybe private high schools do, but I'm not sure. What kind of degrees would I need? A Master's and PhD in Italian? Also, would I need to be fluent in another language? It seems most of my professors in undergrad who taught a foreign language knew at least 2 languages.

I know a teen who is interested in becoming a doctor. She knows she'll have to do a degree first then apply to medical school. One of her concerns is that she won't get the grades she needs in her first degree to be able to enter medical school. Would medical school be entirely out of the question for her then, or would she be able to do something to still get in?
