I currently work during the day (American Red Cross)..Its a good job(it pays my bills) and I'd hate to lose it but education is really important to me and i feel like im doing nothing cause i cant go to college like i really want to. I was going to college at night but its too stressful and really boring(i get sleepy and cant concentrate)..the classes are 1 or days a week from 6:30-9:30 or 5:30-8:30..this way i will never finish college...or so its seems that way. What would you do in a situation like this? i know an option is to get a night job and go to school during the day but its going to be hard to find a job that pays me more (or atleast close to what im payed at now).(i dont live in a big town)..i dont know where to work and school starts Jan.7th so i need to decide soon...its just too much stress and im sooo confused. :-( any advice is great...thanks.

*I live in Winter Haven,Fl & im 20yrs old.

I would weigh my options and see what was more important to me. Have you asked if they could assist you where you work with a schedule that might be more accommodating. I agree with schooling we can never have enough these days. In either case I will pray for an answer that God will lead you in the direction he would have you go. That way you can't go wrong. You have a Very Merry Christmas filled with Happiness, Health,Wealth you would never dream of, keep our troops in prayer and light a candle for those who can't be with us! God Bless

Here's some very good advice:
1) Capitalize the word "i".
2) Put an apostrophe in contractions (e.g., "it's", "can't", "I'm")
3) Stay in school if only so that you can learn to spell "paid" correctly.
4) If you want a better job and/or more pay, stay in school, clean up your grammar, spelling, etc, and stay awake during classes (I had a similar situation - - work and school - - and knew that doing both would be difficult, but the rewards, both educational and vocational, were worth the effort). If you fall asleep in class and have bad grammar, you aren't worth anything to anyone, let alone yourself. So stop whining, get off your lazy butt, drink a ton of coffee if you have to, and LEARN TO EARN! (and, no, your mother didn't tell me to write this!) ;)
