I started as a premed student but now I want to be an RN instead. I will soon have my bachelors degree in Biology and am planning on entering an accelerated BSN program. By getting a BSN and passing the national exam, does that automatically make you an RN? How does it work? Thanks for the help in advance...

I am a first year second grade teacher and I often get tips and tricks from the seasoned teachers.

One of them told me that she looks at the chapter test questions. Then she teaches the kids ONLY the information that is going to be on the test. She said that it overwhelms them if you try to teach EVERYTHING in the chapter.

I mentioned this to my mentor and she said the teacher is wrong and I need to report her to the principal. What do you think?

What happens if I can't complete my undergrad degree "on time", as in within my first 4 years of college. Can I just take an extra (9th) semester of classes in order to graduate? Are there any consequences, besides paying some more money for the semester?

I want to go to either one for high school but I don't no which one and I wanna try to get in for 8th grade but I don't know if it would help me or not cause I'm top of my class and if i grad from my current school I get better but enter with an unfinished skl

I am a 47 year old mother of three as I spread my children out quite a bit my oldest is 28 and my middle is 25 and my youngest just turned 18. now that i have all my children at an age they take care of themselves mostly I am a stay at home grandma and I do daycare for several other children. I have recently been thinking of what im going to do with myself now. I have to get out and do something I am drivinng myself crazy staying home all the time I have to much thinking time to myself I am making myself depressed if I dont do something with my life im going to go crazy or make myself sick.. I love computers so I thought maybe somethnig in computers for me to maybe learn to earn at home while I get educated while I have the kids too. any advise... for me

I am a sophomore Biochemistry student with a pre-med track..I go to a really good science school but I haven't been happy here ever since I started college. The school is a small school but pretty selective with their admissions...I am from the city the school is in and I know the area, so I don't feel homesick. I just think the school never suited me well and it caters to a certain crowd..but I am thinking of transfering from this school to another but it is a liberal arts college, about the same price..and their academics aren't as tough nor do they have a selective admissions process...Is it wise to leave my school so I can be happy and have a less impressive profile for medical school..or is it best that I stay here, have an impressive profile and be in a bad mood everytime I am here.. I don't want to make the wrong decision..but I want to be happy and wise at the same time.

Other than going to the library or asking politely for some quiet time (both of which I do from time to time), are there any methods that work for focusing in such an evironment? One idea I thought of is putting on headphones with music that does not distract you (lyricless, but not sure where to find this music..). Any tips?
