im starting my second year at imperial college in london. im thinking about transfering to berkeley as they have a really awesome math (my major) program and i need a change of scene pretty badly. i know these circumstances are probably abnormal so if anyone could give me tips or ideas of what my chances would be, thatd be great. my grades are good (heading for at least a 2-1 and hopefully a 1st) and im pretty sure i could do an abover average personal statement with extracurriculars. i hear that the uc system is pretty welcoming to transfer students especially if you have some quirky story to tell about your life and how you got to where you are. again thanks in advance for the help.

I am about to apply to a Radiology Program that is offered at a Community College near me. I have the entire thing filled out except one question. It says Briefly explain why you are interested in the health science program you have chosen and how the program may help you meet your goals: Then it only gives me 2 lines. to answer. I want to become an X-Ray tech because I like working with high tech machines and things like broken bones interest me. I like being able to tell people exactly what part of what bone is damaged. I also like meeting new different people. I just dont know what to put down on those 2 tiny lines and I don't want to write to much because I am sure there is a reason they only give 2 lines.. Any tips on what would be a good answer?? Please note that I know their is a lot more to being an X-Ray tech then just looking at broken bones, infact that would probably be one of my rarest jobs when working in an Emergency room near where I live.

It's that time of year when geese fly elsewhere to avoid the British Winter.

But have wondered recently why do they fly in formation of a V?

Thanks

Grr. I can't think of it, and it's driving me insane.

It's like an audition.. although that's not the word. It's like an 'audition' when you are going to join a team..

Anyone know what i'm talking about?
