I'm searching for my friend. She wants engineering but it doesnt have to be strictly that type. Preferable in the middle atlantic, states like PA, MD, NJ, NY and others. also, the size should be about 5,000 or less. anything along those lines, please help me!!!!

I don't know much about schools on the east coast. But I can tell you that, in general, the better engineering schools are the large research institutions (usually 15,000 to 30,000 students). Schools with less than 5,00 students are generally known as liberal arts schools because they focus on the humanities. Large research schools can afford to have proper engineering facilities, and there are enough students to support unpopular majors like chemical engineering. Even at a school with 25,000 students, there might be only a few dozen chemical engineering students.
