is there such a thing like that? i read something about it in a 5th grader book lol im just wondering since i have 2 years until i go to a good college so i dont have to worry about ending up living with a gay person or a man whore

I'm not sure I understand your question. Coed dorms are real. Most often males and females will live on the same floor but usually not in the same room or suite. Some school have dorms where its coed by floor. So only male on one floor and only female on another floor and so on.
As for the gay person/man whore thing. You really don't have a choice unless the school you want to go to allows you to choose your roommate. Or you could also pay extra for a single room.
But this all depends on the school you go to.

Yeah, they have coed dorms, but it doesn't mean that a guy and a girl get to share the same room! All that means is that there a female rooms and male rooms on the same floor of the residence hall. If you did find out your roommate was gay and that bothered you, you could always request a new roommate.

I lived in a coed dorm on a coed floor my last two years of college. Each room was a single connected by a bathroom to another single. Guys would share bathrooms with guys, girls would share with girls. If you have a roommate problem, you can always request to switch to a different room or a different dorm.

Yep. Most of the time, people living in the dorms have to fill out a roommate matching sheet indicating their preferences. If you and your future roommate end up not getting along at all, then chances are that you can put in a request to be moved to a different room in the building.

Well I go to Ball State in Indiana, and we have co-ed dorms, but what it is, is on one floor it's gilrs and the next is guys and it keeps alternating. I don't know of anywhere that guys and girls live together unless you live in a house or something.
