I remember hearing a quote, I imagine from around the early 1900's, where somebody stated that humans would not be able to process information if they traveled above a certain velocity. I can't remember any other details, but I am curious if anyone out there knows the actual quote and who said it.

ok i'm gonna be senior this year and i wanted to get into great school. but my grade isn't that great. in my 9th grade i got all A's. In my tenth grade i got all a's b's and 2 c's. but two c's i got was in really hard and useless class that was supposed to be current enrollment history and human biology but ended up being normal. and only three kids was in my history class including me and nobody got higher than c and same with my bio class. and what made me mad whas that they didn't even give me college like they promised. in my junior year i got all a's b's except in my geology class i got c. but thing is that 75% of my classes are college classes and i'm getting my associate degree when i graduate from high school. Also, i came to u.s like four years ago. so my english isn't great. i want to major in medical field and be a plastic surgeon so i really need to go to GREAT university with scholarship. what can i do?

its confusing because the credits are worth different amounts unlike highschool. i did really well and wanna know my quarter gpa

i took 2 one credit classes and got A's in both
i took 1 five credit class and got an A in that
i took one 4 credit class that i got an A in
And one four credit class i got a A- in

what would my gpa be? it is the one credit class that are throwing me off, and for future reference how do you calculate it?

It was my first year in college yesterday i went and they took us to this class and then the teacher gave everyone a paper someone might have a paper about a Jew, Arab African American,Mexicans,White and Japanese and so on and the teacher said to right anything you want about them and at the end the teacher made every one sit down and called one by one for example may all the Jews come up in the middle of the classroom infront of 1000 people and he started to read what the paper said and they were pretty bad awful things to say and then he called on Arabs and u know so on isn't that like racists or something can the teacher do that? i mean imagine infront of 1000 people being made fun of of who you are?
