An educated man is a man who has had years of formal education. The educated man would probably have several degrees from a university, including Bachelor's, Master's, and possibly PhD. I would think the advantages would be getting very high-paying jobs in career fields where a degree is a requirement.

A learned man may or may not be formally educated, but he has learned things through experience. I think an example of a learned man would be one who takes off for Europe instead of college after high school and spends the next couple of years traversing the continent and learning about the different cultures and cuisine. To me, the advantages of being a learned man would be having a real interest and passion in whatever it is that he's learned, and really knowing it well enough to apply his experiential knowledge to everyday life.
