I have this sociology project to do and we have to observe a social problem and a suggest solution for it(i.e teen pregnancy). I need some ideas for solving different social problems.

I received 3 D's during my freshman year at my college. (1 D+ and 2 D's) This gives me a current cumulative GPA of 2.43. But I want to change my major to psychology, which requires that I have at least a 2.75 GPA. During my first undergrad year I took courses like chemistry, anthropology, and calculus, which were really boring and difficult. I regret having taken them and not dropping the classes afterward. How stupid of me, since I thought that dropping courses was a sign of weakness. But what is done is done. What do you guys think I can do to raise my GPA by at least a margin of .34? I calculated the numbers and found out that I need to get 1 B, 1 B+, and 3 A's in my 5 courses this semester or better in order to become a psychology major. Next year I'll be a junior in college. I thought that 1 year would suffice to bring back up my GPA but I was wrong due to unexpected circumstances (my professor of last year suddenly changed my NR "not recorded" grade to a huge "D". here, my 19 yrs old brother was studying engineering, but after failing the first year he decided to change his studies and headed for computer science, he was accepted in a very expensive and excellent British University here, now he's tired from a difficult subject and suddenly after passing a whole semister decided to move to learning biz and financial ad. at the same uni., my father is completely against this, my brother insists, I agree with dad my mum is hesitant, tell me what to do to make him change his mind, plz don't tell me let him choose what he wants, he already chose twice.

i want to ultimately teach, but not sure which road to take. doing teachers college first is an option, since i cannot defer teachers college and in two years when i would reapply, there could be too many teachers, so not as many spots opened, and i may not get in the second time around. doing a masters first would open many doors, such as PhD, but then doing teachers college after would allow me to become department head, vice principle, etc. i'm confused on what to do. any insight???

I am 27 and a mother of a 2yr old. I never finished college and have started going back recently. I have a great job and have no plans on going anywhere else. Its just really hard going to school and working. I feel tired all the time and stressed out alot. Is it really worth it to finish school. I know in the long run I do want a degree but if I quit now I don't think i'll go back. What do you think I should do?
