That falls under Hospitality Management. Orlando Culinary Academy in Orlando Florida has an Event Planner degree program.

A degree isn't necessary to be an event planner but I would suggest getting a BA in something as you will find pay scales are higher with people who carry degrees.

The University of Central Florida has a Hospitality Degree in which event planning is covered. Since the Orlando Area has so many hotels this type of degree is very useful.
