I need help to verify if this is correct:

I’m late, aren’t I? = Aren’t I late?
(common in the UK)
I’m late, am I not?
(common in the US, in the UK it’s considered to be very formal)
I’m late, amn’t I?
(very old; not common anymore, but still correct)

i'm NOT saying i'm going to drop out, no i want to
go to college and actually not be like all the druggies
who think they are super cool. i went from a private highschool
to a public school this year and i absolutely hate it.
my parents say i have to stay in school regardless
of how old i am, which i agree. BUT.. i want to know if
i can make the choice of becoming homeschooled
and doing homework, keeping track of the hours i've spent,
and doing the recommended courses and such..is that right?
or is it still the responsibility of the parents?

If I am asked to explain something in an exam and I write down almost the exact wording that I memorized from my readings or reviewers, would that be plagiarism? If, for example, I am asked to explain a theory, may I use the words that I memorized as a definition of the theory? I'm not saying it's my theory. I'm merely defining it based on what I was able to study.

Honestly. I don't understand this. It seems like we are too busy teaching our children the finer sides of cooking and organized sports than we are teaching them the simple basics of life. I almost had a heart attack today when I saw a question from a twenty-something that honestly said "be trade" instead of "betrayed." How does this happen? Where are we going wrong? Am I the only person in the world to find this utterly ridiculous?

I am an environmental major and plan to take time off before I go to Grad school for my masters. I'm not sure which school I'm going to attend yet. I want to know if 1190 (680 math and 510 verbal) is good enough to get into a school when I decide to go back to school or should I retake the test again before it changes in September? I also wonder if 1190 is a good enough score so I can get decent financial aid when I get accepted to grad school?

I am considering obtaining a PhD, but I'm not sure of the research that is entailed. Approximately how long should the dissertation be? Do PhD students actually attend classes or are the classes just time to work on the dissertation? Any suggestions/advice/experience welcome. Thank you

i have to do a speech on english on a famous unknown...which yes i know is contradictory but who is a good person i could use....i originally wanted to do an athlete but then i would have to have more sources and such so its not worth the trouble to me.

anyway who is a good person i could use??
(even if the person is rlly famous it'll still work if there is something unique about them that few/no one knows about)

I'm really considering majoring in Philosophy of Language but I'm not really sure what kind of a career I could make out of it.
