how can you make sentences out of metaphysics and finite?

Although primitive, there have always been cells. is what I'd say, although it's not quite true.

Life began in the primordial soup. Perhaps metaphysics began then too, with cells debating the existence of something beyond themselves. But it was always a finite discussion, ending with the death of each organism.
