It is called the tip. Nib may be used, but it is usually mentioned in fountain pens.

They used to be called felt tipped. I think that chisel tipped refers to the shape of the felt.

I just call it the messy point because it usually leaks in my bage, thus creating a huge mess. And don't kill youself if you don't fine the answer, its just not worth getting that upset over.
