I do teach preschool children & some of them have started to do reading. I was just wondering what are some good ideas of books to do for reading.

I have done one of the flower & killer whale explaining each part of the flower & killer whale. Is there any other ideas???

The ones that do do reading do have books to take home for reading but this is just an extra bit of work during the work cycle

I am a Montessori Directress/Teacher in a pre school environment (3-6year olds) I was just wondering some of the children i teach have started reading. I was thinking of making them books on the different realigions. In each book will contain there religious holidays.

The other idea was doing each book on a religious holidays (Christmas will be one book, Eid will be one book, Diwali will be one book & so fourth)

Is it possible to do each different book on each religion or should i do a book on each religious holiday.

My handwirtting is awful, i a girl, and guys are always like "let her do it, shes a girl, she has good handwriting!" not the case for me. My handwriting is really bad, and im a teenager! HELP! what can i do besides sitting here and writting my alphabet over and over again!?

I'm a sophomore business major, but in college I've begun to take more of an interest in biology and science. I've been considering combining my business education with something in the medical field, but I don't see anything that really relates.

I'd like to find something that I could double major/minor in that would help me get involved with the growing medical field. I've considered nursing, but it seems exclusive (ie. either you're an RN or an accountant - not both). Is there any way I could relate a business degree to the medical field?

I was accepted into my first choice college, but was not offered any scholarships or financial aid. No other school can offer me the same opportunities as this college, but I plan on becoming a journalist and will not have much money to pay off college loans. My dad (who is extremely conservative and feels it is his "duty" to pay for his children) said he will cover the cost of my education, but will be simultaneously paying my $40,000 tuition, my brother's $35,000 tuition, and my other brother's $30,000 tuition. I know he does not have the money for this, but have not found a single scholarship I am even elligble for! I have tried to convince him to let me take out the loans for my education, but he won't let me. I'm considering chagning schools simply because of the cost, but as I said I can't get the same opportunities anywhere else.

Any suggestions? And please, do not recommend Fastweb or any related sites, they have proved useless so far.

I don't think there is a precise word that equals the opposite of that Eureka! moment signified by inspiration, so this may be a case of finding one in another language we can borrow. (Like schadenfreude, borrowed from Germans, meaning pleasure at someone else's misfortune.)

Hi, I'm a UK citizen thinking about applying to Grad Schools in the United States. I understand that I have to take the GRE exam, but I'm confused about the GPA rating. I do not have such a thing. It's been 14 years since my undergraduate degree which I obtained at a London university, and the grading system in the UK is also completely different. Are there other 'tests' I can do, or some other means by which to obtain a GPA, or is it it waived in certain circumstances such as this? Perhaps other considerations are taken into account instead? I'd be grateful for any help/insight, or personal experience with such an application process. Thanks a lot.

I sent out 4 applications to college in my states and have only heard back from one. I sent them all out by the end of February it is now almost the end of march. Is no news good news or bad? I did get accepted to one of the schools but its not my top choice and I do not want to sen a deposit just to have then return it.
