Does anyone know any tips or websites to help me in problem solving in quadratic equations. I really struggle with this. I'm good with factorising and solving quadratic equations though when it comes to reading a problem and writing an equation, I have some trouble with it.

okay heres the deal, im a sophmore in highschool. my grades so far arent that great. I made a "D" and a "f" this quarter, but this is the first time ever i've made a "f" in anyone of my report cards. Also, ive been skipping alot, because of the whole peer pressure thing but im starting to go back to school now and get my life back the way it use to be. thats why i`ve decided to do my own research and ask my own questions to get me started because in 4 months im going to be a junior and i want a fresh headstart. thats why i want to know all about scholarships and internships. i want to know how can i apply for one and i want to know how can i get those letters in the mail about me wanting to visit their colleges and other stuff. i also want to know can i apply for a college as early as junior year. im a beginner on this college stuff. i know noting. thats why im asking for help to get me started.

It makes me crazy when I substitute teach in pre-K and kindergarten classes in schools in poor neighborhoods and the emphasis is on lining up quietly. The emphasis should be on constantly reading to these kids, who will NOT get it at home. I will be student-teaching in the fall, and then will be a certified teacher. I want to read to the class while lining up for recess, which will not work. But how can I get in lots of reading time around the time constraints?

There are some things I'm confused with the word "brand." I've broken them down into two parts below...

1) When we want to find out the company of someone's shirt, we say "what brand is your shirt?"
Does that also mean we can say "what brand is your car?" to ask about the car company, for example?
If not, does the word "brand" only apply to certain types of companies only?

2) Sometimes people say "brand" to implicate the whole company itself, and sometimes a certain line of products within a company (which makes it even more confusing). Is this correct?

For example, I've seen editors that refer to a popular videogame series from a company as a "brand." So, "Pokemon" and "Zelda" are Nintendo's brands.

when you say "think of me in your room",does it mean" think that i am in your room"? or,,,"think of me while you are in your room"?

when you say imagine me there, it means imagine me while you are there?

do you think of me at work? means,,,,think of me while you are at work or think that i am a work?

I was trying to populate my summer and fall schedule as best I can before my registration date comes up and I was browsing through RateMyProfessor.com to scope out some of the unfamiliar names. It led me to wonder how many other people use it and actually rely on it for a vaguely accurate mental picture of what to expect.

For those who do use it: am I the only one who reads the frowny-face comments which mostly say, "This professor gave waaay too much work! He didn't seem to understand we're taking other classes besides his!" and say to yourself, "Yeah, right. You're a slacker and you're just angry because you couldn't slack in this guy's class."?

I have been considering a carrer in the medical field for years and as my kids get older I relalize it's time for me to make a decision as to what I should go to school for. I would love to become a doctor but many circumstances make this almost impossible. What would be a good direction for me to take? There's so many options.... RN, Nurse Practitioner, Physicians assistant, or even working in a lab. If you have any knowledge or experience in one of these positions I would to hear your opinion. Thanks in advance!

okay well i have to do this essay for history its due tuesday! i procrastinated soo much!
